A peek inside
Hakarat hatov means "recognizing the good." The Hebrew words are about noticing, not only about saying thank you. Many Jewish kids start the day with Modeh Ani, a one-line prayer said right after waking up, thanking God for giving us back our soul for a new day.
Question 1: Who helped you this week that you didn't thank? Think about the bus driver, a teacher, a coach, someone at home.
