Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Anafeam (nonprofit reg. no. 580655264) wants everyone to be able to use this site, including people with disabilities. We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) at level AA. This is also the basis of Israeli Standard SI 5568, which we follow under Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law.

What's already accessible

We built the site with accessibility in mind from the start. You can use the whole site with a keyboard, and you can always see where the focus is. Images have alt text, headings are in a clear order, and the page language is set for screen readers. Regular text meets the 4.5:1 contrast ratio. You can make text bigger in your browser without breaking the layout, and the site works on phones and tablets. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site respects that.

There is also an accessibility menu (the button in the corner of the screen). It can make text bigger, turn on high contrast or grayscale, highlight links, switch to an easier-to-read font, and stop animations. Your choices are saved for your next visit.

What isn't accessible yet, and what we're doing about it

Video captions: right now, the videos on the site do not have captions. We are working on captions for the whole library, starting with the most-watched episodes. We know this is a real problem for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, and we plan to fix it.

Some parts of the site, like the picture-based games, may not work fully with screen readers and other assistive tools, because they are so visual.
